Thornwell Charter’s Shorter Signs with Erskine for Cross Country and Track 

Throughout his career, he has broken multiple school records and earned numerous honors at the school, region, and state levels.

Thornwell Charter School senior JT Shorter has signed with Erskine College to continue his cross country and track career. Shorter has been a dedicated member of Thornwell’s Cross Country and Track & Field programs, establishing himself as one of the school’s most accomplished student-athletes. Throughout his career, he has broken multiple school records and earned numerous honors at the school, region, and state levels.

3x Region 1-A All-Region (Cross Country)

2x All-Region (Track & Field - 2nd place, 1600m and 3200m) 

8th Place in 3200m, 1A Track & Field State Championship 2025 

12th Place in 2600m, 1A Track & Field State Championship 2025
