On Wednesday, October 1, at 6:15 p.m., the Clinton High School community gathered inside Wilder Stadium for the annual Homecoming pep rally, held immediately after the parade. The event brought students, families, faculty, and alumni together for an evening of school spirit and community pride.

Spectators filled the visitor side of the stadium, where the shade provided comfort from the evening sun. As attendees arrived, they were greeted by a variety of food trucks positioned near the entrance, including Spinx Cluk Truck, Mexibilly’s, and Front Porch Churn, which offered meals and treats throughout the night.

The Devil Regiment band energized the stadium with the Clinton High fight song, while the cheerleaders and color guard led the crowd with chants and spirited performances.

Several games added to the fun, giving students the chance to compete in activities such as balloon balancing, a pizza-box relay, and a scavenger hunt that involved finding items from the crowd. The Homecoming Court presentation also took place during the rally, with queen candidates and class representatives introduced to the community.

Head football coach Corey Fountain addressed the rally with words of encouragement and motivation for his players as they prepare for Friday night’s Homecoming game. To add to the excitement, students tossed small footballs into the stands, delighting the children in attendance.

The evening concluded with the Devil Regiment band performed the school’s alma mater, sending everyone home with a unifying reminder of Red Devil pride and tradition.
