Player of the Week
The Laurens County Touchdown Club is proud to announce that for the opening week of the South Carolina High School football season, August 21st, the Player of the week is Laurens District 55 High School sophomore quarterback Logan Bragg.
Logan is a sophomore quarterback for the Laurens District 55 High School Raiders and helped lead the Raiders Friday night in their 43 – 34 win against J. L. Mann High School in the lightning-delayed season opener for both teams. A long pass from QB Logan Bragg set up the game winning TD with 40 seconds to play in the Greenville, SC contest.
Logan Bragg had an outstanding night for the Raiders at the helm of the offense. Bragg completed 22 passes on 32 attempts or 358 yards and 2 TDs. Additionally, Bragg ran for 80 yards on 12 rushing attempts and a rushing touchdown as well. Bragg finished the night with 438 total yards of offense and 3 TDs.
Head Coach Greg Porter stated, “ Logan Bragg played an amazing game. He is only a sophomore that is a leader on and off the field and shows great character and is an outstanding person.”
The Laurens County Touchdown Club will honor Bragg on September 3rd at the second Touchdown Club meeting of the year. The meeting will be at noon at The Ridge in Laurens with Dempsey’s Pizza of Clinton serving the meal and the food service line opening at 11:45 am. Player of the Week awards will presented in 2026 by Farm Bureau Insurance of Laurens County.
