CLINTON — The holiday season officially arrived at Woodbridge on Friday, Dec. 5, as residents and guests gathered for the annual Festival of Trees Kick Off event, held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at 300 Jacobs Highway.
The evening welcomed attendees with light drinks, refreshments, and a cheerful atmosphere filled with Christmas décor and festive displays. Dozens of uniquely decorated trees—each created by community members, local groups, or neighborhood participants—lined the space, offering a colorful showcase of creativity and holiday spirit.
The kickoff also marked the official opening of public voting for this year’s Festival of Trees. Visitors were invited to walk through the displays and cast their votes for their favorite tree, with voting open from December 5 through January 5.
Holiday music, warm conversations, and children admiring the decorations added to the charm of the evening. Families and neighbors mingled and enjoyed the first glimpses of Woodbridge’s seasonal celebration, making the kickoff a joyful start to the month-long festival.
The Festival of Trees remains a cherished tradition for the Woodbridge community, bringing people together to celebrate creativity, connection, and the spirit of Christmas.
