Clinton, SC – The Clinton Chronicle has earned two First Place honors in the 2025 PALMY Advertising Awards, a statewide competition hosted by the South Carolina Press Association (SCPA) that recognizes excellence in newspaper advertising.
The awards were presented to Reporter Victoria Steele and Publisher Christopher Patterson for their outstanding work in different advertising categories.
Steele received First Place in the Rich Media Advertising category for her promotional video created for The Clinton Chronicle's Advertiser Appreciation Dinner. The SCPA praised the entry for its “effective use of animated graphics to create an engaging Instagram Story.”
Patterson received First Place in the Gift Category for his Life in Color of Laurens advertisement. The SCPA described the project as “really eye-catching,” noting its vibrant presentation that resonated with advertisers and readers alike.
The PALMY Awards were announced during the South Carolina Press Association’s annual summer meeting. The competition includes newspapers of all sizes from across the state and honors excellence in both print and digital advertising.
With these recognitions, The Clinton Chronicle Advertising team continues its tradition of producing high-quality, community-focused promotional work.
