Clinton, SC – Families from across Laurens County flocked to LushAcres Farm on Saturday morning for a joyful celebration of spring during the City of Clinton’s Easter Egg Hunt. Under sunny skies and surrounded by blooming fields, laughter echoed through the farm as children searched eagerly for colorful eggs!

The hunt officially kicked off at 10 a.m., with Mayor Randy Randall joining the crowd to welcome families and express his excitement about the growing tradition. He praised the event’s ability to bring the community together and highlighted the importance of creating fun, family-friendly opportunities in Clinton.

Adding to the festive atmosphere was a surprise early appearance by none other than the Easter Bunny, who delighted children with hugs, high-fives, and photo opportunities before the egg hunt began. Excited little ones, baskets in hand and running shoes laced, dashed into the fields, squealing with joy as they discovered eggs tucked away in tall grass and under blooming shrubs.

Beyond the egg hunt, the event offered plenty of entertainment for all ages. Families enjoyed free raffles, vendor tables featuring local crafts, and a variety of family-friendly games that kept the fun going throughout the morning. The BIG AIR of Laurens mobile bounce unit was a crowd favorite, giving kids a chance to jump, bounce, and burn off their energy in between egg-collecting sessions.

Also participating was the Laurens County Literacy Association, which handed out free books and educational materials while promoting their literacy programs. Their presence added a meaningful educational element to the day’s festivities, reminding families of the importance of reading and learning together.

From Golden Egg prizes to community connections and springtime cheer, the Easter Egg Hunt at LushAcres Farm could grow into a cherished annual tradition, promising fun, friendship, and festive memories for years to come.
