Laurens County has been made aware of fraudulent emails being distributed by an unauthorized individual or entity falsely claiming to represent Laurens County Government.

These emails are not affiliated with, authorized by, or sent on behalf of Laurens County. The sender may attempt to use County names, logos, email addresses, or official-looking language to appear legitimate.

Citizens are encouraged to exercise caution when receiving unexpected emails claiming to be from specifically, the Laurens County Planning Commission. The entity is using the email Planning.Laurenscountysc@usa.com

Do not click on suspicious links, open unexpected attachments, or provide personal, financial, or sensitive information in response to unsolicited messages.
