COLUMBIA — As the 2026 primary season draws to a close, Faith Wins is proud to announce the results of one of the most expansive faith-based electoral engagement efforts in South Carolina history.

Over the course of this election cycle, Faith Wins hosted more than 70 pastor meetings across the state, bringing together over 800 pastors who collectively hold direct relationships with more than 100,000 congregants statewide. These gatherings connected faith leaders with 15 candidates seeking office, ensuring that the concerns and values of South Carolina’s Christian community had a seat at the table throughout the campaign season.

This cycle, Faith Wins made it a mission to ensure that every candidate understands that Christian values matter, and that believers are paying attention.

A Powerful Culminating Event of the Primary Season

As a culminating event of the primary season, Faith Wins partnered with Palmetto Family Council to host a Faith Forum that brought together candidates and believers from across South Carolina under one roof. All candidates were extended an invitation regardless of their prior participation in Faith Wins events.

Nine candidates accepted the invitation and appeared before an audience of more than 500 attendees; a powerful demonstration of the growing influence of the faith community in shaping South Carolina’s political future.

With the primary closing in with an expected runoff in two weeks, Faith Wins looks ahead with momentum. The organization intends to continue hosting candidate meetings and plans to be intentionally engaged with candidates who advance to the runoff, ensuring that Christian voices remain represented at every stage of the electoral process.

“We are grateful for every pastor, every candidate, and every believer who partnered with us this season. Our work is far from over, and we are just getting started.” – Chad Connelly
