Mrs. Lois B. Horne of Cross Hill, SC entered the kingdom of heaven on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 after a decline in health. She was with her loving family and friends in the final days of her life.
Lois B. Horne was born on January 18, 1934 in Union, SC to the late Nannie Mae Roark and Ralph Emerson Bolton. Lois Horne was the eldest of seven siblings. Lois Horne was a 1989 graduate of Clinton High School, she completed her degree through night school while working and supporting her loving family. She was married to the late Jesse T. Horne of Jonesville, SC and was the mother of six wonderful children.
The love and memory of Lois Horne will live on in the world as those closest to her carry on her legacy; her six children; her seven grandchildren; her many great-grandchildren; a great, great-granddaughter; and her adopted daughter Scarlet Muir along with a host of other relatives and friends that will mourn yet carry and pass on the many wonderful memories made with and by Lois Horne.
Funeral Services were held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Cross Hill. The family greeted friends at the church from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Burial followed at First Baptist Church Cemetery of Cross Hill.
