CLINTON’S NEWEST BUSINESS - Advance Auto Parts had its official Laurens County Chamber of Commerce grand opening TODAY (Thursday, Dec. 5) at 909 South Broad Street.
The occasion was celebrated by WPCC owner and Large Time Network DJ Pat Patterson handing out Dempsey’s pizza, which is located across the street from the new business, and spinning Seasonal and Beach favorites. The Chamber crew and ambassadors supplied the blue ribbon, giant scissors, and the bubbles machine.
Also, a Laurens County Cruisers vintage car show -- after this weekend's Christmas Parades, the Cruisers will take a winter break to fine-tune their vehicles, before returning for spring car shows throughout the Laurens County community.
Food was available from Byrd’s Roll’in grill & kitchen, with finger foods, popcorn and drinks inside the new full-service auto parts store. The City of Clinton was represented by Council Member Anita Williams, Police Chief Michael Addison, Communications Director Lacresha Dowdy, and Main Street Clinton Director Jim Spry.
See banners along South Broad Street and on the store front for grand opening specials. Advance Auto Parts is located in the Food Lion shopping center.
