General Thomas Sumter to be Topic at the Laurens County Museum Revolutionary War Lecture Series on January 28

Laurens - The Laurens County Museum Revolutionary War Lecture Series program about General Thomas Sumter has been rescheduled to Tuesday, January 28, at 7 pm.

 

Durant Ashmore will speak about the life, times, and military achievements of South Carolina General Thomas Sumter.  This lecture is at the Laurens County Museum at 116 South Public Square, Laurens, SC, and is open to the public.  Museum members and youth are free to attend.  

 

There is a suggested donation of $5 for non-members for museum support.  

 

The Laurens County Museum exhibit hall is free to visit and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am until 3 pm.  The museum is a non-profit membership association.
