Joanna, SC – Laughter, sunshine, and plenty of action filled the air on Thursday, May 22, as students at Joanna-Woodson Elementary School celebrated Field Day 2025 — a beloved end-of-year tradition that brought joy to every corner of the school grounds.
From 9 a.m. to noon, students rotated through a variety of fun-filled stations, burning off energy and building unforgettable memories with their classmates and teachers.
Spray bottle water tag was a crowd favorite, offering refreshing bursts of fun under the late-May sun. Others tested their skills and teamwork with games like frisbee disc golf and the ever-popular gaga ball pit. Students also enjoyed giant Jenga, a balance of patience and strategy that brought lots of laughter and cheers.
To beat the heat, kids cooled down with icy snow cones and popsicles, giving the morning a sweet finish.
