ESCAPEE
At 11:31 am on Aug. 28, the Laurens County Sheriff's Office posted this: “UPDATE 11:31AM- Subject is in custody.
“At approximately 10:30AM today (8/28), Travilous Kyndrell Austin escaped the Laurens County Detention Center. Austin has been incarcerated on charges that include Attempted Murder, Burglary, Armed Robbery, and other charges.
“Last seen in the area of AB Jacks Rd and Milam Rd at approximately 11:20AM in Laurens wearing a white t-shirt and orange inmate pants. He may or may not be wearing the orange pants at this time.
“If you see him, do not approach. Call 911 immediately. Deputies have been and are actively pursuing him.”
