Edward Hill of Laurens died February 21, 2026, at Magnolia Manor, Rock Hill.
Born January 13, 1942 in Clinton, he was the son of the late James H. and Kathleen Ealy Hill. Edward served in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Navy. He was a police officer in Clinton during the early 70’s. His passion was photography and loved animals. He was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Anita Hill.
Survivors include his son, Kenny Hill (Greensboro); sisters, Lynn Elkins (Frank), Rock Hill, Beverly (Greenwood); stepdaughter, Sonja Tschappat (Jim), Laurens; stepson, Mike Whilmire, Clinton; best friends, Deb, Benny, Belinda, and Vernie.
The family would like to thank Laurens County Hospital Comfort Care, Magnolia Manor, and Agape for their love and wonderful care.
A private memorial service was held in Laurens. Parker Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
