Robert L. Williams is a retired United States Army Master Sergeant (E-8) who brings decades of leadership, discipline, and service to his candidacy for District 42 (Union County & Clinton). Throughout his military career, he led with integrity, accountability, and a deep commitment to those he served alongside, values he now carries forward in service to his community.

Williams holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity (MSCS) from Hallmark University in San Antonio, Texas, equipping him with advanced knowledge in modern technology, security, and infrastructure, skills that are increasing vital to protecting and strengthening local communities.

A community-centered leader, Williams is committed to building a stronger future for District 42 through practical solutions, shared values, and respectful leadership. Raised with an understanding of rural life and the importance of neighbor-to-neighbor trust, he believes government should reflect on the people it serves and not stand above them.

Grounded in faith, family, and service, his campaigns built on the belief that every resident regardless of background, town, or circumstance deserves to be heard, respected, and represented with dignity.

At a time when growth is essential, Williams emphasizes that progress must remain rooted in a simple principle: people come first. Growth should strengthen communities, create opportunities for working families, and preserve the values that define District 42, not leave residents behind.

Williams is focused on:

Local-first leadership that prioritizes county needs over expensive influence;

Economic growth that puts people first and benefits local families;

Infrastructure improvements that strengthen roads, broadband, and public services;

Respect for tradition and shared values, while ensuring fairness and opportunity for all.

His mission is clear: put people first, bring the community together, restore trust in leadership, and deliver real results that improve everyday life across District 42.
