GREENWOOD — Two Democratic candidates for the South Carolina House are bringing their campaigns to Greenwood and inviting voters to pull up a chair, ask questions and talk about the issues that matter to their communities.
C. Rauch Wise, candidate for State House District 13, and Michanna Tate, candidate for State House District 14, will host a Meet the Candidates event on Thursday, October 15, from 6–8 p.m. at Break on the Lake Grill & Bar in Greenwood.
This is an opportunity for voters to meet the candidates face-to-face—not through a campaign ad or social media post.Attendees can hear directly from Wise and Tate about why they are running, what they hope to accomplish in Columbia and what they believe South Carolina communities need from their elected representatives.
Just as importantly, the candidates want to hear from voters.
“This is about having a real conversation,” said the candidates. “We want people to come, ask the hard questions, tell us what’s happening in their communities and talk with us about the future of South Carolina.”
The event is open to the public, and residents from across the area are encouraged to attend.
