Deborah “Marie” Gibson, age 40, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at her home.
She was born on March 6, 1986 in Greenwood, South Carolina and was the daughter of Gerald Wayne Gibson, Sr. and the late Deborah Lee Conner Gibson. Marie was a registered nurse and loved working in healthcare.
Marie is survived by her beautiful daughter, Alyssa Shepard; her brothers, Gerald Gibson, Kevin Gibson (Shannon), Mike Gibson (Jenny); her sisters, Sabrina Todd (Tyler), Nikie Walker (Mike), Lynn Starnes (Randall) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton at 3:00 PM with Rev. Tommy Ginn officiating.
The family will greet friends from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery.
