The City of Clinton will be implementing a new traffic pattern for the section of West Pitts Street between North Broad Street and Elizabeth Street, effective July 6th, 2026. This section of West Pitts Street will become a one-way street to improve traffic flow and enhance safety in the area.

Starting July 6th, vehicles will enter West Pitts Street from North Broad Street and exit at the intersection with Elizabeth Street. Entry from Elizabeth Street onto West Pitts Street will no longer be permitted. This change is part of the city's ongoing efforts to streamline transportation and better serve residents and visitors.

A 30-day notice is being provided to ensure that all residents and motorists are informed in advance of this new traffic pattern. The city encourages everyone to plan accordingly and be attentive to new signage and road markings in the affected area.

We are committed to making our streets safer and more efficient for everyone. We appreciate the community’s cooperation as we implement this important change.
