On May 11, the Clinton High School boys' tennis team made its 3rd consecutive trip to the AAA State Finals at the Cayce Tennis Center. Bishop England came away with the state championship, but Clinton won at #1 singles as sophomore Ike Waldron captured a 2-hour match in 80 degree heat. The Red Devils were undefeated in region play for the season, and Waldron finished with a 19-0 region record.
