The Fall 2016 student-athletes, band, cheerleaders and trainers for Clinton High and Clinton Middle Schools were introduced Aug. 18 at Meet the Devils. The CMS Wildcats cheerleaders, volleyball and 2 football teams were introduced to family, friends and fans in CHS gym. For Clinton High, varsity and JV football, varsity and JV volleyball, varsity and junior varsity cheerleaders, boys and girls cross-country, girls tennis, trainers and the Devil Regiment Marching Band were introduced during the event. Three teams start Tuesday - Girls tennis season in a road match at Greer, volleyball with home matches against Laurens, and cross-country running at Mid-Carolina. JV football plays Thursday at Laurens (game at Laurens Middle), and varsity football plays host to Laurens, Friday at Wilder Stadium. Clinton Middle 8th grade football opens its season at Mid-Carolina Sept. 8, and 7th grade football will be at home Sept. 7 against Woodruff.
