He is supporting voter expansion and protection measures in Congress, as States pass laws governing voting procedures that were adapted in 2020 in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Absentee, Mail-in and Early Voting were expanded so people could stay apart from each other and quarantine during the worst time of the pandemic, which has claimed more that 615,000 American lives.
