Nancy Elizabeth Braun (Kaminski) passed away on October 9th 2026 in her home at the Presbyterian Community in Clinton, SC after her fight with Ovarian Cancer and other long term health complications. Nancy was born on September 4th 1949 in Perth Amboy, NJ to William and Evelyn Kaminski. She married her husband, Kevin, on December 1st 1990.

Nancy graduated from Perth Amboy High School in 1968, she got her Nursing degrees from the Charles E Gregory School of Nursing in NJ. She worked as an Operating Room nurse in JFK Memorial Hospital in Edison, NJ. After the birth of her son Ian, Nancy and Kevin moved to Jacksonville, Fl. Nancy worked as an OR nurse and with the transplant team for the Mayo Clinic for 25 years through the remainder of her career. She moved to the Presbyterian Community in Clinton, SC 2023 to be closer to family.

Nancy is survived by her only son Ian and his wife Hilary, as well as her siblings: Janet and husband Richard Staehle, William (Billy) Kaminski and wife Dr. Sarah Ralston, Linda and husband Richard Turco, as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews… and her cat, Jezebel. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Kevin, and parents William and Evelyn.

Nancy was a beautiful and fashionable woman with ‘perfect’ hair; she was extremely sharp witted and always left an impression on anyone she met. She loved trivia, playing Scrabble (even if she hated her letters), and traveling. She will be profoundly missed by her family and friends – the world is a less fun place without her.
