The Woodbridge of Clinton community came together on Tuesday, April 15th, for an excellent celebration as several children gathered for the Easter Egg Hunt. The event was filled with sweet treats and fun activities, starting with a delightful spread of cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn, and lemonade from 11 am to 1:30 pm.
The excitement built up to the main event, the Easter egg hunt, which took place from 2 pm to 3 pm. Over 2,000 Easter eggs were hidden across two age groups: under five and five and older, ensuring every child had a thrilling experience. The Easter Bunny made a special appearance, spreading joy and cheer among the little ones.
Kids from local organizations, such as Young World and the YMCA, were among the enthusiastic participants. Alexus Grant, the executive director of Woodbridge Clinton Senior Living, beamed with pride, saying, "It's a really great day. We're able to give back to the community and just celebrate Easter."
The younger participants were particularly thrilled, with Olive and her sister Ivy Rhodes showcasing their impressive egg collections. Olive exclaimed, "Look how many eggs I got!" Meanwhile, A'shon Grant, son of Alexus Grant, was busy gathering as many eggs as possible, flashing a bright smile for the camera. The kids' infectious energy filled the air.
As the event came to a close, everyone gathered in the chapel for the highly anticipated raffle giveaway. In a fun twist, the Easter Bunny drew the raffle tickets, and Nate and James were announced as the lucky winners, each receiving an Easter basket filled with goodies.
The Woodbridge Easter Egg Hunt was a resounding success, bringing the community together for a day of fun, food, and festivities. The smiles on the children's faces said it all – this event was truly a highlight of the Easter season.
