The 40th Annual Clinton Family YMCA Prayer Breakfast, co-sponsored by the Clinton High and Clinton Middle Schools Fellowship of Christian Athletes, provided 5 days of inspiration for students at the high school, middle school and elementary school levels, and adults from the Greater Clinton Community. On Friday, Y Executive Director Gene Simmons was honored for his work in organizing the prayer breakfast for the past 4 decades. Speakers were Shannon Powell, Tony Eubanks, Marc Mero (CHS, CMS and First Baptist Church, Clinton), Major Lacy Gunnoe and Gregg Nibert. Breakfast was offered each morning by the incomparable Clinton High Lunch Ladies, and devotions were provided by FCA officers.
