Students and staff at Clinton Elementary on Feb. 9 celebrated China in a program coordinated by their Chinese teacher, Miss Hannah, from Presbyterian College's Confucius Institute. The popular Dragon Parade was a program highlight - kindergartners carried Chinese lanterns, first graders marched with their artwork fire crackers, and second graders showed off their pandas created in visual art class. Chinese fashions, tea ceremony, a Zodiac Party and healthy eating Chinese food lunch also were part of the program (8:15-9:15 am 5th grad China sessions; 9:15 - 10:15 am 3rd and 4th grade sessions). - Photos by Vic MacDonald
