The Laurens County Council welcomes its newest member, Shirley Clark, of Laurens, to the council. A Democrat, she is filling the seat vacated by Garrett McDaniel, also of Laurens, as he accepted a position in housing in the Biden Administration. The Laurens County Council meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month in the council chambers of the Historic Courthouse in downtown Laurens.
