May 1 Fund-raising Walk. Members and supporters of Impact2Purpose staged a fund-raising walk for their new location in Clinton. The event raised seed-money for the group’s new home, on Bailey Plant Road (near Richloom). Businesses and other supporters were invited to contribute and have their names on signs along the West Main St. route, on large banners and on T-shirts. “We invite you or your organization to be a part of this wonderful experience,” Impact2Purpose Director Rhonda Gary said, “along with providing the much-needed financial support to make this event a success and assist the foundation in its current initiatives. We work to support youth with at risk behaviors putting emphasis on academic achievement, youth development, prevention, and critical skills for future self-sufficiency.” This walk was led by C/O 21 students and community youth. - Photos by Vic MacDonald
