BLUE HOSE FOOTBALL SCHEDULE.

The Presbyterian College football team opens the Steve Englehart era with an 11-game schedule beginning on Saturday, September 3, as announced on Thursday. The schedule includes five home games and eight PFL contests.

"I am very excited for our team's second full season in the PFL," said Engelhart.  "Every team in this league has the talent and coaching to win the PFL. We start the season with a tough 3 game non-conference schedule.  Going to Austin Peay our first game of the season will be extremely challenging.  Like everyone in this conference, we have quite a bit of travel.  However, we do not have two road games in a row the entire season.  I think this will be very beneficial for the rest and quality of life for our team."

September 3rd has the Blue Hose traveling to Austin Peay to face the Governors for the second time in the last five seasons. PC and Austin Peay opened the 2018 season with the Govs earning a 24-0 victory.

The Blue Hose open their home slate on September 10th when they welcome in Virginia University of Lynchburg to Bailey Memorial Stadium. It's the first time PC has faced Virginia University of Lynchburg as that game will be Family Weekend and First Responders Appreciation Day.

September 17th PC takes on Western Carolina in Cullowhee. The two teams have played 19 times with the Catamounts winning 10 of those meetings including a 33-21 victory in October of 2015 for the last meeting between the two schools.

Presbyterian returns home on September 24th for the Battle for the 1919 Cup against Davidson. The Wildcats won the first installment of the rivalry in Davidson last year. The home contest with Davidson is also slated to be Scotsman Club Day as well.

The Blue Hose open October with a road trip to Morehead State to battle the Eagles in a PFL matchup on October 1. The Eagles evened the series at one with a 38-30 win in Clinton last October.

PC comes back to Bailey Memorial Stadium on October 8 for a matchup against Valparaiso that will be Youth Day and Educator Appreciation Day for the Blue Hose. It will be just the second all-time meeting between the Beacons and Blue Hose.

Presbyterian is then set to make the long trek to the west coast for the first time on October 15 to battle San Diego in league action. The Toreros have made a pair of trips to Clinton in the head-to-head matchups.

The Blue Hose return home for homecoming against St. Thomas on October 22nd as the Tommies make their first trip to Clinton.

PC hits the road to wrap up October with a long trip up to New York on October 29th to battle Marist.

The Blue Hose close out the home slate on November 5th welcoming Dayton to Bailey Memorial Stadium for Military Appreciation Day.

Following a bye week, Presbyterian closes out the 2022 regular season traveling to DeLand, Florida on November 19 to battle Stetson.

Game times will be announced at a later date.
