COLUMBIA, SC (February 15, 2024) – As we approach Presidents’ Day Weekend, the State Election Commission wants to remind everyone of the remaining dates to vote early in the Republican Presidential Primary.
Early voting ends Thursday, February 22
Voters will be asked to present Photo ID when checking in to vote. For a list of early voting locations, visit scVOTES.gov or contact your county elections office.

Due to recent changes in the SC Code of Laws, absentee-by-mail ballot requests cannot be submitted online, by email, or by fax. If you do so, the request cannot be honored. Requests can only be made via the USPS, telephone or in-person. When applying, you must provide your name, date of birth, and the last four digits of your social security number. The cutoff for absentee-by-mail requests is 11 days prior to an election.
