LAURENS COUNTY, SC, April 10, 2024 – The Laurens County 250 Committee, in collaboration with SC250 and the South Carolina Battleground Preservation Trust, cordially invites the public to a special event aimed at shedding light on the site development and interpretation of Hammond’s Old Store.
Hammond’s Old Store holds a significant place in the history of our community, serving as a reminder of our past and the stories that shape our present. This skirmish set up success at the Battle of Cowpens in the American Revolution. This event seeks to explore and celebrate the historical significance of this cherished landmark.
