On November 8 - in advance of Nov. 11 Veterans Day - the JROTC, students and staff of Clinton High School welcomed Veterans to the gym for a morning program with the assembled student body. Tributes by war and by branch of series, as well as 3 video presentations, were provided for the veterans - the audience gave each war-time service member a standing ovation. The JROTC Battalion presented a call and march, and the mournful "Taps" was a fitting end-of-day tribute to the Laurens County - Nation's Heroes and their families. - Photos by Vic MacDonald
