Thank You, Advertising Partners

Our 32-page Horizons (progress section) could not have been possible with advertising partners' and subscribers' support

Posted

The Clinton Chronicle staged its first Advertiser Appreciation Dinner for the annual Horizons (progress section) last Thursday afternoon at its North Broad Street office.

Members of the American Legion Post 56 & Auxiliary dropped by to show their support, as well as representative of businesses that advertised in the special section, which charts Laurens County Progress through articles about local people and organizations.

Also, The Chronicle was able to distribute copies of its bridal magazine - To Have & To Hold - which had been received at the newspaper earlier that same day. Clinton Family YMCA Executive Director Harold Nichols brought fliers for the Annual Prayer Breakfast, a 3-day event for middle and high school students that started last Tuesday morning at Broad Street United Methodist Church.

While networking, attendees also received copies of the February 26 newspaper that included the 2-section Horizons insert - both were printed at The Laurens County Advertiser -- and talking points about how the newspaper collaborates with its advertising partners. Oh, yes, also a Shout Out to Food Lion Clinton for the food.
