CLINTON, SC - Santa Claus has been making the rounds in Laurens County this holiday season, spreading cheer and joy to residents of all ages. His whirlwind tour included appearances in the Laurens and Clinton Christmas parades, where he waved to crowds and distributed candy canes.
But Santa's tour didn't stop there. He was spotted sipping coffee at The Vestibule, and even took care of some last-minute business, purchasing sleigh insurance from Haden Copeland at Allstate.
Santa also made a special stop on the front porch of 413 N Broad Street, bringing delight to the residents and passersby. His final appearance in the county before Christmas was the Clinton Public Library's "Santa at the Library" event on Thursday, December 19.
The Clinton Public Library transformed into a winter wonderland as it hosted its annual "Santa at the Library" event. The festive gathering brought together families, children, and community members for an afternoon of holiday cheer.
The library offered complimentary snacks and beverages, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for attendees. However, the main attraction was the opportunity for children to take free photos with the jolliest man of the season – Santa Claus. The Big Man himself was on hand, posing for pictures and spreading joy to all who attended.
"We're proud to offer events like 'Santa at the Library' that promote community engagement, literacy, and learning," said Renita Barksdale, Library Director.
