The Highlander Battalion on May 14 commissioned 14 Second Lieutenants in the United States Army, at Edmunds Hall, Presbyterian College. The Battalion includes PC, Newberry College and Lander University. Commissioning Speaker was MG Maria Gervais, director of the Synthetic Training Environment Cross-Functional Team, Orlando, Florida; and a graduate of Lander College. In addition to taking the Commissioning Oath of Office, each new officer received his or her Silver Dollar Salute.
