Laurens County Emergency Services to Conduct Full-Scale Mass Casualty Exercise on April 16th, 2025.

Laurens County Emergency Services, in collaboration with multiple agencies across the upstate, will conduct a full-scale mass casualty exercise on April 16th, 2025, from 0700-1800 at The Sawmill Training Complex and The Gulches ORV Park. This exercise is designed to enhance preparedness and response capabilities in the event of a large-scale emergency.
The exercise will simulate a natural weather disaster, providing first responders and support agencies an opportunity to practice coordination, communication, and critical decision-making under realistic conditions. This exercise is a vital step in ensuring our community is prepared for any emergency.
Residents and visitors in the vicinity of The Sawmill Training Complex and The Gulches ORV park may notice an increase in emergency vehicle activity. Organizers emphasize that this is a planned exercise, and there is no cause for alarm.
