Devil Nation, United. The ever-popular Homecoming Parade and halftime festivities are part of Friday’s Clinton High School Homecoming. The Red Devils hold off a determined Pendleton team for a 20-14 win on the gridiron. Representatives of organizations, sponsors of senior football players, and The Homecoming Court participate in the crowning of Asia Whitmore, senior, as Miss CHS, Homecoming Queen 2019. The grade representatives are: Ashia Barr, 9th; Tira Owens, 10th; and Deshanti Watts, 11th. Crown and flower bearers are: Master Landon Glenn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dontavious Glenn, and Little Miss Harper Terry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Terry. The crown was provided by Hoyt Hanvey Jewelers of Clinton, and CHS Principal Dr. Martha Brothers and Homecoming Queen 2018, Aaliyah Johnston crowned the new queen. – Photos by Vic MacDonald
