The Laurens County Public Library is buzzing with festive fun as it hosts its 2nd annual Gingerbread House Competition! This delightful event brings together creative minds of all ages, showcasing an impressive array of gingerbread masterpieces. Submissions were accepted from December 2nd to December 31st, with participants divided into four age groups: Littles, Kids, Teens, and Adults.

The gingerbread houses on display are a holiday delight, with intricate details, bright colors, and creative themes. From classic designs loaded with candy canes and gumdrops to modern creations with unique twists, these entries are impressive. It's clear that every age group has put a lot of thought and effort into their designs. Each house has its own story to tell, and together they showcase the community's creativity and holiday spirit.

So far, the event has been a crowd-pleaser, with attendees marveling at the creativity on display. "I love to see the kids' creativity," said one visitor, "those houses stand out to me." Now it's your turn to vote! As of January 2nd, the public is invited to cast their votes for their favorite gingerbread house in each age group. Voting continues until January 10th, giving everyone plenty of time to admire the designs and choose their favorites. The winners will be announced shortly after voting closes.
