Third District Congressman Jeff Duncan, of Laurens County, rose to the podium of the United States House of Representatives to honor the Clemson Tigers Football 2016 National Champions. Clemson defeated Alabama, 35-31, on Monday in a rematch of last season's title game, won by Alabama. A parade and celebration of the team - led by head coach Dabo Swinney and junior quarterback Deshaun Watson, who threw the winning TD pass with :01 on the game clock - is planned for Saturday, Jan. 14 in Clemson.
