SCDOT to temporarily close SC 560 bridge over Bush River in Laurens County
Columbia, S.C. (September 18, 2024) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close the SC 560 bridge over the Bush River in Laurens County for repairs beginning on September 25, 2024. The repairs are expected to last a month.
As part of the closure, a detour route will be put in place. A map of the detour can be found below. Please note that the road will be open to local traffic only during the closure except for the bridge site.
SCDOT asks the public to slow down and pay attention when driving through the work zone. You can plan your route ahead of time by using SCDOT's 511 SC app or by visiting 511sc.org. If you can't avoid the area, SCDOT asks that you use caution and slow down when driving near crews.
