Clinton High lacrosse 15-8 win over TL Hanna, CHS varsity soccer 4-1 win over Ware Shoals, and Red Devil boys tennis 6-1 win over St. Josephs this month happened within a few yards of each other at the Red Courts on North Adair Street, soccer field behind Clinton Middle and in Wilder Stadium. Home lax wraps up Thursday, March 24, with Senior Night, while CHS tennis finishes its home schedule Tuesday, April 19 (against Lancaster), with the State Playoffs starting May 2. CHS boys tennis is the defending Region Champion and goes into a March 22 home match against Union County with a 3-0 region record. Red Devil soccer has won 3 matches in a row and plays at home March 25 v. Lancaster, March 29 v Union County, and March 31 v South Pointe - all region matches. At Presbyterian College, spring sports teams play on with home and road action leading to Big South tournaments in April and May. PC lacrosse will play at home March 30, Coastal Carolina; April 2, High Point; April 10, Central Michigan (non-conference); April 13, Campbell & April 20, Gardner-Webb. Blue Hose baseball plays at home April 8-10, Winthrop; April 13, Furman (non-conference); April 22-24, Liberty; April 27, NC A&T (non-conference); and May 10 at University of South Carolina (non-conference).
