LETTER: Spray after heavy rains
It's a natural known fact areas affected by hurricanes/tropical storms will see a huge increase in mosquitoes.
In the Joanna area since Irma they are terrible, I've never seen them so bad in my 59 yrs.
Thus, why wasn't our areas sprayed prior to a case of West Nile Virus being diagnosed? I was always told "an ounce of cure is worth a pound of prevention."
Maybe EMS Director Joey Avery should consider a change of professions.
