CLINTON COVID-19 CASES --- 204 (June 30, 2020)

Clinton has 175 Coronavirus-COVID-19 cases, and is projected for 1,250 -- in SC, 20% of all confirmed cases are in the 21 - 30 age range; infection rate from recent tests - 20.1%. More than 10 Million cases worldwide.
Laurens County cases: 406; Deaths: 5; Projected cases: 2,900 - 35 new cases on June 28.
South Carolina cases: 33,211; Deaths: 712, 52% of which are among blacks; 954 patients hospitalized with COVID-19.
Hardest hit county: Greenville, 4,733 confirmed cases; projected for 33,807. State's Recovery Rate: 80%.
United States cases: 2,640,080; Deaths: 128,461; Recovered: 1,093,927; US Rate: 89% recovered/discharged.
Worldwide cases: 10,294,409; Deaths: 505,468; Recovered: 5,586,839; World Rate: 92% recovered/discharged - June 22nd saw the largest single-day increase in cases yet, worldwide, led by the U.S. and Brazil (USA Today).

Clinton High School’s Athletic Director, Louie Alexander, has announced, “Out of an abundance of caution and due to the Laurens County Covid-19 pandemic numbers, we are suspending all athletic activities until further notice.”
