Suspect ran toward LR Amphitheater

UPDATE: A man accused of robbing a Laurens pharmacy dropped his phone at the scene, and when a person called the phone, authorities were able to get the suspect’s name.

Authorities identified the suspect as Iquill Morrison, 22, of 120 Terry’s Park Dr., Laurens. He is accused of using a gun to rob the Drug-Lo pharmacy on Fleming Street in Laurens. 

Morrison also is charged with indecent exposure for an incident that allegedly occurred nine days before the robbery.

A report said Morrison robbed the Drug-Lo of $300 Thursday morning, a fled in the direction of Little River Amphitheater. Local and state officers searched for the suspect, and a cellphone was found at the scene. Authorities found Morrison hiding in the woods at a Garlington Street residence, and he was taken into custody. The money was not recovered.



The Drug-Lo in Laurens has been robbed, and officers are looking for a suspect.

The suspect is a black man, about 6 ft., wearing all black with a black backpack, in his 20s-30s. He had a weapon, and robbed the store of about $300, a report said. Laurens Police, Sheriff’s deputies, SLED agents and K-9 officers are searching for suspect who ran toward Little River Amphitheater. The business is at 106 Fleming St.

Do not approach this suspect - he is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information, call 911.
