Sponsored by the History Department, on the Richardson lawn, students and staff ate bratwurst, German potato salad and pretzels. Scotoberfest is part of this weekend’s Homecoming at PC. The Homecoming Game will kickoff at 2 pm Saturday vs. Coastal Carolina at Bailey Memorial Stadium. Crowning of the Homecoming Queen will take place at halftime. Tonight, there will be patriotic concert in Edmunds Hall, and the Blue Pride Bash at Bailey Stadium. On Saturday, the alumni tennis match is served up at 9 am, and the alumni awards ceremony will begin at 10 in Edmunds. After football, the PC volleyball team takes on Gardner-Webb at 7:30 pm in Templeton Center.

On Oct. 31, at 6 p.m., the PC Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band will be putting on a performance to increase community outreach and celebrate Halloween on campus. The third “Hallowinds” concert held at PC will include a costume contest for the schoolchildren and a costume contest for college students, both involving a $20 prize. During the concert, candy will be distributed from different Campus Activities on campus, along with after the concert from 7:15-7:45 p.m. There will also be a neighborhood trick or treat after the concert. The event is free and open to the public.
