Covering Clinton City Council’s meeting on Monday was like watching the Atlanta Falcons — you start out with high expectations, but in the end nothing is accomplished.
Having turned 66 on Sunday, I am mindful of seeing some of my favorite rock artists in concert before they - uh - die. I’m mindful because of the deaths last month of Eddie Money at age 70 (The Money Man - “Take Me Home Tonight”) and Ric Ocasek at age 75 (The Cars - “You Might Think I’m Crazy”).
My Eddie Money CD is so worn it doesn’t play right anymore -- it’s great traveling music.
I have taken some criticism here for a defense of trees - cutting trees for profit, and expressing concern about companies that process trees. Truth is, because of a personal experience, I am skittish whenever I see a logging truck.
