A lifetime of memories....

By Kelly Duncan

My Mama always told us that when the good Lord was ready to call her home, she would be ready. Well, on Jan. 14 with my Daddy, brother, sister and I by her side, the Lord called her home. How am I doing? Alright, I guess. I’d be lying if I said it’s been easy dealing with the loss of my Mama because it hasn’t. I’ve already been to her grave too many times to count to “see” her (there’s a good chance I’ll go there today) and I find myself constantly looking through photos and other memories I’ve saved from our adventures together.

Publisher: Hunting for second vehicle in expensive times

My father, Harvey, taught me a love for automobiles. And he taught me how to look for and study automobiles.
Daddy taught me brand loyalty — love all things Ford. Although, I also am fond of  Jeeps.
He taught me to love NASCAR — all things Bill Elliott.
Remember before the Internet, when new car dealers gave out the booklets on each vehicle. Daddy would read and study those.

Publisher: First concert - TobyMac

My daughter, Lydia, 8, attended her first concert last week – TobyMac in Greenville.
The family had a blast.
TobyMac (Toby McKeehan) is a Christian hip-hop artist. With Michael Tait and Kevin Max Smith, DC Talk was formed in 1987. TobyMac has been turning out hits ever since and now is a driving force behind new Christian acts, like Hollyn.
